Estimate Transaction Processing - Load Estimate

Use this option to load the materials, text and labour lines from another estimate into the currently displayed estimate. This functionality is provided to:

read a similarly estimated job into a new estimate
read several smaller estimates into one larger project. This is useful if you want to build up smaller estimate templates or models.

To load the lines from another estimate:

Display the Estimate Transaction Processing screen.

Refer to "Managing Service Estimates".

Select LOAD ESTIMATE.

Micronet displays a selection screen with a list of estimates.

To narrow the list of estimates displayed, complete one or more of the following fields:

	Field	Value
	Estimate No	If you know the number of the estimate you want to load, enter it.
	Debtor	To find an estimate for a particular debtor, enter the debtor number.

Micronet displays the estimates matching your criteria at the bottom of the screen.

Double-click on the estimate you want to load, or select an estimate and press the Enter key.

Micronet displays the Load Estimate Details screen.

Complete the following fields:

	Field	Value
	Read into Default Stages	Select Yes if you want Micronet to create the same stages in this estimate as exist in the one being read. Select No if you want Micronet to read the entire estimate into one stage.
	Stage	If you selected No in the previous field, enter the stage that you want the estimate read into. You can press spacebar then Enter to select a stage. The stage must already exist. Refer to "Estimate Transaction Processing - Stages - Variations and Stages".
	Quantity to Read	If you want to read a multiple of the source estimate into this new target estimate, enter the quantity.
	Labour Loading %	You can apply a markup loading to the labour contained in the source as it is being read into the target estimate. For example, if the labour content for an item is 0.50 hrs and you apply a loading of 20%, then the target estimate labour content would be increased to 0.50 + 20% = 0.60hrs/item.

Select the Accept button.

Micronet redisplays the Estimate Transaction Processing screen with the estimate details loaded. You can add, edit or delete the details as required.
